We were very pleased to provide lights, sound FX, and video media for “The Laramie Project” at the Harley School on Nove 16 – 19. The actors did a phenominal job. It’s deep material that affects everyone working on and watching the play.
Technically, this was a black box theatre created on the stage area of a thrust procenium (no grid), 4 moving lights, and 24 video monitors running through 2 computers, one live camera, and VLC Player for pre-recorded video playback (stills, and motion). The complex video pushed my technical limits. Every play teaches me something. And “Laramie Project” is already difficult material for the emotional content.
We had a terrific student crew who had not worked on a complex play before, so everyone was learning new material. And it all turned out to be a really great production.
